A good book but not as applicable to life as The Tipping Point. He explains how at times, the amount of information we are given to make a decision clouds our judgment. Sometimes, going with gut "instinct" is better. He explains how this "instinct" is actually our mind processing all the information based on previous schemas which then allows us to form a snap decision. Sometimes these decisions are correct and other decisions are not. The key (duh) is figuring out when to go with our instinct and when to use all of the additional information. He writes well, I really enjoy the examples he uses to explain his points, and I do think there is validity to his claims. However, the theory is too subjective and due to this, its not quite as good as the Tipping Point. He mentions this in his afterword and tries to make a case for social change which I felt was a little weak. The book still made me think and for that reason, I would recommend it to others, it just isn't AS applicable to life as the last book.
