I had a very difficult time getting into this book, so it took me a few days to actually finish it. That’s the second time I started this book and needed to get to know Bones better. So many bloggers said good things about it and I do like Urban Fantasy because of their powerful and kick ass females, but Cat was a crying baby in the first couple of chapters. My problem was Cat and I couldn’t get past the drama she kept complaining. I liked Cat and Bones relationship when we actually get to it, and I think Bones was definitely right in hiding some things from her. She’s too powerful and a cannonball with less finesse. Bones was actually a great guy and I liked his style and his job. He’s a charming british and talks with that sensual voice, so the sparks flying between these two were extra hot. I liked pieces of the book and could actually enjoy this series later on. Bones was perfect, Cat’s mom was an extremist, I think Cat’s father will appear some day, I didn’t like the ending on this book and expect more of grumpy Bones soon.
