I can't do it. Not one minute more. I went into this expecting some classic Arthurian tale, which I suppose it is, but I think I was mistaking it for Mists of Avalon (just from the little I knew about it going into the story). Given that, the silliness and anachronisms were really jarring. So I gave it a bunch of extra pages to get into it once I figured out this story was not going to be a serious one and 200 pages in I give. It's just boring. Wart has some cute kiddie adventures but it's way too long for a cute adventure book for kids. I tried to look up why it's considered such a classic. Is it the first one of it's kind in some way? Is it some great parable? I couldn't find any reason. I'm moving on.
Is the best
Daniel Tammet is an amazing individual who has much to offer all of us in terms of understanding ourselves, our goals, and what it takes to reach them.
