A must for anyone who loves Mr. Darcy as much as me...or the heroine of this novel!

Like most series writers, I think Sandford is grasping at straws once he reached his 10th + work. This storyline is about a quilt and the death of its elderly rich members. The story was far fetched and a bit confusing at the end. Sandford left out a lot of "personal" info about Davenport's life which is what keeps me interested. It was too long and boring at parts.

A very strange & creepy book...but I loved it!

I had to return this to the library because I accidentally got volume two, mainly because I didn't realize that the book was so long that it was split into two volumes. I briefly considered reading them out of order and then decided that I just wasn't in the mood to read something that would ultimately be 1200 pages long. Some other time.
