Bu benim ikinci kez okuma. İlk defa çok sevmedim, ama bu sefer çok daha iyi. Kolay okunabilir, ama üzücü.

Şimdiye kadar ... Stephen Hawking mükemmel bir fizikçi. Ben değilim. Yine de, bu kitap öyle bile yazılıyor ki ben bile anlayabiliyorum. Fizikte neredeyse hiç bir geçmişim yok (gerçekten bir kimya insanıyım), ama yine de sunduğu kavramları kavrayabildiğimi görüyorum. Öğrenmem gerçekten ilginç bir şey ve neredeyse üniversitede fizikte başarısız olduğum gerçeği, Hawking'in neden bahsettiğini anlama yeteneğimi engellemiyor gibi görünüyor. Whew! I finally finished it! My eyes hurt now. So does my head. What's with these books that they don't get really good until the last 100 pages or so? The rest of the story seems to dash, dart and flit about, not really being anything significant, and yet it all can somehow come together into something really solid in the end that makes perfect sense. I do think this one is the best of the three, though I still feel that the movie version presents a more solid, clear, concise and uniform version of the tale. I found myself losing patience with every one of these books. The "a-ha!" moment in each of them is very much a long time coming. I almost quit on every one of them before I reached it. I wasn't even motivated to finish this last one, but I'm glad I did. I don't think they're the greatest of tales, nor are they among my favorites (unless we're referring to the movie), but it isn't as if they weren't worth reading. They are worth the effort, and this one finally came together nicely. It didn't end how I wanted/expected it to, but it ended well.
