This is my second time through this book. Very interesting premise, memorable characters and concepts. It is divided into five parts, and I enjoy part 1 and most of part 2. In part 2 it starts to get preachy, which increases throughout parts 3, 4 and 5, especially regarding property, sex and God -- a mix of hippie "free love" concepts and the "all is one" theme of most Eastern religion. There was a surprisingly postmodern theme for how long ago this was written. Anyway, I found some of that tedious, but I still recommend it. Also, I have been curious about some of the author's more famous work and will probably check it out.
