I really dig Brautigan and all of his works. This book was recommended to me by another student at the time because it is about a guy who runs a library and lives with his girl friend in the place. The funny thing is that anyone can bring a book he or she wrote to add to the shelves of the library. The main character gets his girl friend pregnant and they take a trip to Mexico so that she can get an abortion. I like Brautigan's style and I tend to write like him in my own stories.
