This one is always worth a review every few years. A whole new appreciation for the plight of slaves.

The book was incredibly interesting. Not only was the story captivating, but the detail on the life of the Amish and how their lifestyle differs vastly from much of the rest of the country made the read educational as well.

Lines from this book still randomly pop into my head. That is influential writing.
