First companion book to The Giver-- not a sequel, so don't expect to see your favorite Giver characters, they're not there. An interesting look at another futuristic society, this time one that has regressed instead of progressed as in The Giver. Not quite as intriguing as the first, but a must read if you've read The Giver.

A very suitable ending to a fantastic set of books. My only complaint is that once I was done with the book, I was sad that it was over!

Remarkable love story. The character Noah is a wonderful caring, patient person. The world needs people like him. I have not seen the movie made from this book, but I would like to.
