I think I would have liked this book even more had I not seen the movie beforehand... The book was (as expected) much more romantic and gritty. The relationship between everyone and Rosie was much more heartwarming and believable, and you could see the world through Jacob's old eyes better than any film could hope to portray. It was an easy read and left me feeling happy at the end!
