Held my interest long enough to finish the book, but too far from the P&P characters for me to appreciate it for that. Just OK. Not really worth it.

Very, very good. I did not see it coming. A little reminiscent of "The Deep End of the Ocean", obviously because of the subject, but also because of the coincidences/happenstance which seems a LITTLE farfetched...but when you consider how many children go missing, isn't it possible that sometimes there ARE those happenstances? (I am trying not to spoil anything so that may not make much sense.) I was disappointed in the ending but it was realistic and un-sappy, so I didn't take off points!
