** spoiler alert ** I love the ending that Clair had a wonderful happy baby girl. I hated the way the book ended with no one being procuted for the fires. I also hated that a son of such standing would rather have his parents to think he is dead, when he is off with a whore. This really irated me mostly since the family really needed closure.

This is unquestionably a "horror novel." However, unlike what I would consider the "usual" horror novel, which is written purely for thrills and chills, Let Me In incorporates real, relatable characters who convey complex emotions. More than that, the novel is written with a theme in mind: bullying. Lindqvist investigates this theme in a number of ways throughout the novel, making it not only a fascinating, entertaining read, but an educational one, as well. Bravo, for a novel well-crafted.
