Probably the best self-help book there could ever be. Brilliant and beautiful.

I would've never read this book if it weren't part of a book club. But it gave me insight into what it was like growing up as a working class child in the middle of Indiana during the '70s. So I can't say that it was waste of time. And the short story style writing made it engaging.
