Beastly is the modern-day version of Beauty and the Beast takes NYC. I loved reading about the transforation of Kyle Kingsbury (spoiled rich kid who only likes other spoiled rich kids) into Adrian (the hunmble beast). I think this is a book that all teens should read at least once. High School can be cruel and learning to appreciate differences and helping teens with their self-images is always a plus. I found myself engaged in Beastly from the first page til the last. It is romantic and magical. Highly recommended!
