I enjoyed this book although I had a bit of trouble with all the strange names and places. Nevertheless, it is a real page-turner. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Time seemed to fly and the plot moved along at a very good pace. The end was very final to me. I didn't get the sense that the characters would go on, not even Boudica's daughter. That surprised me, as I know that this is one in a series of books. I am curious enough that I would like to read the rest of the series.
