This book is one of my favorites! Once I figured out the time jumping thing it was smooth sailing. and i love the whole concept of a catch-22. so common in real life too . . .

Oh man, I'm excited and worried about this one. Chris Adrian is a wonderful young writer. I also read "A Tiny Feast" in the New Yorker and I loved it, and that story is incorporated into the novel. However, I thought that a short story was the perfect length for the conceit, and I worry that going novel-length with it won't work as well. I hope very much to be proven wrong.
