Lord of the Flies never really caught my interest. From the first page to the last, I could never get into it. Lord of the Flies was about young boys, who wound up stranded on an island. There were many boys, but the main 4 Ralph, Piggy, Simon and Jack weren't the best of friends. Jack, who always wanted to hunt for pigs, would always fuss at Ralph and Piggy. Ralph who stole Piggy’s ideas was first voted as chief for the boys and didn’t like the fact that Jack was trying to take over. Piggy was an outcast he was the fattest of the boys and had asthma; he had good ideas and was always put down by Jack. Lastly, Simon, a quiet boy, starting giving his opinions about the island and how to improve things. Simon was eventually killed due to a miscommunication between the two groups; Jacks and Ralphs when they separated. Then the next tragedy happens, Piggy dies. In the end, the remaining boys, Ralph get rescued. Although I didn't like this book, I would recommend this book, who likes to read about adventures and tough times.
