I wrote this book and I think it's awesome.

This is great for teens, particularly ones interested in the vampire or goth movements. Lucy is a teenage diabetic that doesn't manage her condition well. She has a theory that diabetes was mistaken for vampirism in the middle ages, and she begins engaging in dangerous behavior.

While I do not think this is Barbara O'Neal's best book, I still enjoyed it. The beginning was a bit choppy and slow, but the second half pulled me into the story. I give it 3.5 stars.
