I was really excited when I started to read this book since it had interesting characters and the potential for a really interesting story. The story is told backwards, which is interesting, and the story lines tended to overlap a bit. The first story, intended to be about Olgivanna, was overshadowed by the second story (about Maude) that by the time I reached the second story I was tired of reading about the crazy character. The disappointed / bored feeling with the Maude character unfortunately tainted the rest of the story for me and about 3/4 of the way through I just wanted to be done. Overall, the story was entertaining and told from a really interesting perspective of one of Wright's assistants/students.
