Couldn't help myself, just had to get back into Pottermania this summer. It's fun.
I absolutely loved this book. The open chapter is one of the best that I have ever read, it instantly drew me into the story. The story is both funny and poignant. I also liked it because of the subject matter. I find circuses and the circus life to be endlessly facinating. This story also had the added element of being set during the depression and lots of Historical details with that. I would consider this one of my top ten favorite books and I cannot wait to read others by Sara Gruen.
This is by far my favirote Anne Rice book... and it doesn't have witches or vampires!
