Very charming story about Arthur who writes a meaningful story about earning a dog, but ended up changing by adding some unnecessary details, and in the end he made completely bazaar poem about the elephants. When he presented his creation to the parents and later to the class, everyone was confused. Arthur admitted that he originally wrote a story about the dog, but he changed it to make it more exciting. The teacher and the class liked his first story better. I love this book!!! It teaches children how important it is to plan your writing and think about the main goal and supportive details.
