There is something really beautiful about an author who is in control of their craft -- It's hard enough to plot a successful story that is intriguing, but to be able to manipulate the chronology of a story and make the story even better? (This is one of the reasons I enjoyed Time Traveller's Wife so much) This is a great book that will teach men something about relating to women and teach women something about relating to themselves. Good stuff - it's a fast read, with fabulous strong characters. Really Enjoyed it (i.e. I'm going to keep it on my shelves and not allow anyone to borrow it, in case I want to read it again).

Loved it! The Bloody Nine, what a bad ass. Almost like a Jack Reacher for the fantasy genre. Glokta, just awesome. Quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite characters of any medium. Dogman and Co., can't wait to see what they get up to. All and all you just can't go wrong. Don't have to be a fan of the fantasy genre to enjoy this, though if you like Sandman Slim, Charlie Huston stuff, or anything with sharp dialogue and gritty characters, this is something you'll probably enjoy. For me this was one of those books where you get done and say, "God damn, I enjoyed the hell out of that! How come I didn't know about it before and are there anymore?"

Love short stories, especially when you wish they would just keep going for another 300 pages! HA! A great collection!

Great book about a kid who is home schooled. His grandmother breaks her back, so he has to go to a real school.
