A fun romp about life and death and everything in between. When you first meet Callie she is a normal woman trying to make her mark in the world. Her life is turned upside down when her father who is death and sister is kidnapped and she has to take over the roll of death. The one thing I love about Amber's writing is how she can go between myths and pop culture with out missing a beat.

This is my favorite book out of the Harry Potter series. I believe this is the only book that no one dies in; it also shines light on Harry's not so picture perfect home life, and brings a special kind of hope that he might be able to escape the Dursleys at last.
