I give this one 4.5 stars. It would have been a solid 5 for me if some of the detail was cut out of certain sections such as the detailed descriptions of various medical procedures and background informaiton on bit characters. I think this book could have been 100 pages less and been just as good or better. Overall I felt very invested in the characters and I loved getting to know them. This was a touching and interesting story that I would highly recommend. I'm glad it was chosen for our book club.
