Liked this book about a girl who makes her own way in the world by living on/near her favorite river. There were a lot of interesting characters and you couldn't help but feel sorry for Margo and at the same time admire her resourcefulness. Didn't give it 5 stars because it had just a few too many scenes of detailed varmint skinnin' and eatin' for me. Ick!
