The pictures in this book are bouncy, vivid - just delightful. The text, unfortunately... There's nothing wrong about it, or bad about it. It just is a very basic, very solid "self-esteem is good" book. Banal, bland... maybe a little boring. This is made all the worse by the artwork, which is so not boring and banal and bland that it shows up the words even worse. Oh well.

One of my favorite books. I find myself thinking about Bruno,Betsy and Pep.
