One of my favorite authors. He sets his books in Florida, and he has an hilarious sense of humor--a bit dark at times! This is my favorite book of his...it touches on some of his main themes - the destruction of florida's natural resources, and beauty- but the story revolves around a newspaper columnist who has had enough and decides to take matters into his own hands, something about kidnapping the orange bowl queen. Great story, highly entertaining Perfect for a good beach read.

This series is great for a thriller!
