Kesinlikle öncekilerle aynı hatalardan muzdarip olmasına rağmen New Jedi Order serisindeki daha iyi kitaplardan biri: Vongların aniden pasif olduğu, inisiyatif olmadığı ve serinin başında askeri dehası olmadığı gösterildi. This story reminded me a lot of the Tom B. Stone "Graveyard School" books, actually, somewhat of a departure from the usual R.L. Stine style, but a good and refreshing departure. Michael Munroe's inclusion in the previous book's Horrorland section was also a nice change of pace, and the Horrorland part to this book was quite good as well. R.L. Stine continues to produce exciting stories.

What a trip! I still have not decided whether I loved it or hated it. So much country! Reminds me of all of those Romanian novels I had to read for middle and high school, very "country". Still, something about it was fascinating. I think in the end I loved the writing, but hated the world that it describes.

silly. cheesy. gooey. not a total waste of time if you want some bubble gum vampire silly. better than pride & prejudice & zombies in that at least he had to write something as opposed to just inserting zombie fights into every few pages of a classic... friend of mine worked on the feature & I guess I figure if I'm going to see it, might as well read it first?

Another great read by Richelle Mead! Although, this was probably my least favorite so far. I don't really know why, I just feel like not a lot happened. yeah, something HUGE did happen, but it annoys me. Because I don't even really like Dimitri, I'm all for Adrian. <3 Then the ending.. WHY THE CLIFFHANGER?! Why did that even have to happen? They are so stupid, they are blind to who actually did that crime, it's pretty obvious. Now I can't find out what happens until sometime next week! Overall, it was good and exciting, just not my favorite of the series so far.

Another great book by a great author.

Translation of a German novel about the joining of East and West Berlin and the disconnect in the way people think in those two cultures. Wonderfully imaginative and innovative in its writing. Some scenes are so funny you laugh out loud. Great discussion of the varieties of potatoes eaten by Germans, the leather coat sold in the black market that disintegrates as the narrator walks in the rain, the taxi driver that stops and throws all the author's papers out of the cab when he disagrees with his politics. Ends with the wrapping of the Reichstag by the artist Christo.
