Amazing amazing read. One of the best books I've read last year... probably not such a great literary work, but a great story and great characters. I would club it alongiwth Upamanyu Chatterjee's English August, which is also one of my hot favs!

Blah. How did I slog through this? Why did I read the sequel. I'll tell you. A friend highly recommended this. I'm not sure what people see in it. It reads like it was written by an inebriated 12 year old with a fist of Triskets in one hand and a bottle of Easy Cheese in the other.
