here's a good question: how did a book which records marketing "phenomenons" yet poses no suggestions as to why they exist or how they could be repeated (in essence, presenting a thesis and never addressing it) become so damn popular? stick to your new yorker articles, malcolm, and save us all some time.
This book was a little slow at times, but I still enjoyed it for the background it gives to the Narnia series. My favorite part was definitely the creation scene. Absolutely beautiful!
Wow. Incredible story. It's impossible for the author to have lived during the time the story took place. But the details! Mitchell is a magical story teller.
