Kay's latest book does not disappoint. His prose is beautiful, the subject thought-provoking, and the ending is satisfying. I really enjoyed his twist on T'ang China.

I really liked this book, it was an interesting look at Mr. Darcy as Jane Austen wrote him transformed into a "flesh and blood" man, at least in the heroine's eyes. He didn't really translate well after all...hmmm.

I'm honestly surprised at how much I love this series- it's wonderful. I actually think I enjoyed this one even more than the previous one. Becky heads to New York with Luke with the intention of making it big. Things don't quite go according to plan though and it turns out to be a hilarious AND heartbreaking story. I honestly loved it from start to finish. It takes a lot for a book to make me laugh out loud and this series certainly achieves that. It can also be very serious at times, which of course makes it feel more realistic. I am really looking forward to reading the next one.

Take off of night before christmas. Not bad but not great. Still one of the better st patty day books in our collection
