What a horrible book!
Darren Shan is a great YA writer. I started with his first series, Cirque Du Freak, and it had a great storyline, twists and turns...and such details. This series, The Demonata, beauty can be found in the blood and gore. Great work Shan.... Great work.
What a wonderful story, I love it!!! Very touching story about Maasai people showing their support to the people in America after September 11 attacks. An American diplomat accepts the gift of 14 cows for the people who grieve in his country. This is the sign of friendship, knowledge that we are not alone and we have a support from legendary warriors who live in the small village in western Kenya.
I loved this book! I read it in less then 2 days! Meyer did a great job of showing the struggle that Edward has to undergo constantly in Bella's presence, especially by the example of Bella's 18th birthday. The pain and despair that Bella felt when Edward left was so real. She was trying to prevent herself frmo being emotion, so she gave up on them altogether. Yet, they were there, waiting to surface. But, before they did, it was great to see Jacob and Bella come closer as he kept her company and assisted her with her dangerous exploits. It was interesting that Edward came back to her to try to keep her safe, indicating that he was always extreemly concerned with her well-being. Which is demonstrated when Edward is faced with losing Bella forever. We find out that neither of them can go on without the other...
Read it in one sitting. I'm really enjoying this series. Just deciding whether to go to bed or start the next book!
