** spoiler alert ** SOME SPOLIERS BELOW!!!!!!! I <3 THE BOOK!!! Some might wonder why I gave it three stars- the answer to that question is simply. I think it could have been better written; other then that I would have given it a Three in a half, or a four, but I like to nit and pick over books that are really good, and could have been even better. To me the whole story line, the plot, the characters; they were ALL AMAZING. But because stories like these are such a favorite of mine I felt like it could have been WAY better told. The whole begging of the book was to slow for me, and it kind of (I know A LOT of people may bash me for this latter on) felt like to me; only the part where he felt like he had to stay away from her to protect her-and a few other parts as well. I love Luce and Daniel, they are awesome. And I just felt like some of the things in the first part where kind of slowing down the story. Luce though I love here as if she was my sister was completely stupid when it came to Cam, which I really didn’t get; if I had felt some MAGER connection to a guy- as if I had know him somewhere – then I certainly wouldn’t be flaunting around with Cam, now matter how green his eyes where, OR how yummy he might have been. But that’s just me. I love the characters in the book; they all fit so nicely in. Besides Luce and Daniel, my favorite characters are Peenyweather Van Syckle-Lockwood (I just love her name Peenyweather. lol), and Arriane. It’s sad what happens to Peen. :( Sigh. There where a couple of things that had bothered me about this book. The fact that Luce had been acting so dump, ticked me off. It felt odd to me, sense she is super smart in all, but I guess love is BLIND. Other then a few pet peeves that I had, the book was great. I will go on and read the second book of the series (Which I hope you do as well!), and I hope Lauren fills up some of the missing pieces that were there to me, in the second book. I tried not to give to much away of the book, so I didn’t mention the few pet peeves I had while reading, if you want to discuss some more of the book I would gladly share more comments. Happy Readings :)
