It was good, but it got really sad at certain parts of the story, it made me cry.
read it for school...loved it! i like dark, adventure stories like this. and the great thing is that anyone can read this book and come up with some sort of interpretation that can have a great paper written out of it. this book is seriously readable from any angle (feminism, modernism, marxism...).
intially I found this to be good but lost interest later on - was comforting to read about someone having depression who wasn't stereotypical....this author was a high flyer - so made me feel as if it is the kind of illness that can strike anyone down - but I don't think I gained any personal insight into depression from reading this book
