When I picked up this book, I thought I would enjoy reading about a woman who found comfort in books and could never figure out her love life, but I was greatly disappointed. A majority of the book contained paragraph after paragraph of her thoughts and explaining what was happening instead of dialogue. I wasn't able to get lost in the book, instead I got bored with the words and the story seemed unbelievable. Many things were left unexplained, like how Dora was so rich in the first place and who she was really with at the end. What I did like, though, were the quotes from authors and books at the beginning of each chapter, but anything to do with the actual story line is not really worth reading.
