This book is a collection of poems by Billy Collins. A lot of the poems have to do with nature in some way, and are well written. Some were serious, some humorous, and all make you think. However, his poems didn’t particularly hit home with me, nor do anything for my love of poetry. It’s not because his writing is bad, on the contrary, everything is written very well. The writing style he used though did not connect with me personally, and I didn’t attain any enjoyment from reading this, even all the way through. I liked one or two poems, but on the whole it was not good enough for me to read again.
