I love this book. The characters were so complex. They were raw, matured throughout the series and there were very few that you hated in the end. The scary part is how real the characters reacted to the situations. I think many of us have found ourselves sacrificing for family, confused in love, forced to hurt others to save yourself and being forced to make a decision when you know both options are very very wrong. The visuals and action scenes were very well written for a movie. I can't wait to see the movie.I'm sure there will be one.

This books brings context to the sub-cultures of the very broken country, Afghanistan. The writing is not eloquent; however, it is much more than a simple real-life adventure story.

Bryson comes through once more. Always a great listen when this author reads his own stuff!

Really fun read that will definitely appeal to teens, especially since the Thor movie is coming out. Silly, upbeat, and reminiscent of Ultimate Spider-man in terms of humor. There's special appearances by lots of other folks in the Marvel universe, so it should appeal to comics nerds, too, but even those who are not familiar with them can enjoy the title as the quick read that it is. Too bad it is in vignettes instead of one story arc, or I could've nominated it for the Great Graphic Novels for Teens booklist!
