Still reading this...but it is a guilty pleasure already. The writing is less sophisticated than his earlier works, and he tends to have pretty outrageous and silly metaphors (there is one where he compares Thomas Aquinas to the "mean streets" of Denver) but overall, it's keeping me entertained.
