My all time favorite book ever! This is the book I would have written if I had this much talent and wasn't such a slacker. I read this when it first came out and now I'm reading this with my fiance. So it's strange how time can change perception. I'm sure that knowing what was going to happen (I remembered the big points) and having been exposed to many of the new, crazy ideas in three books dulled my enjoyment this time. But really it seemed like at least 100 of the first 200 pages should/could have been edited out and it would have made the experience much more enjoyable. It was still amazing but it was really hard to get through that first 200 pages. Some many ideas. I stole many of them for a D&D campaign after I first read the book. I've always said that I think Iron Council is a better story but this is like your first girlfriend, she holds a special place in your heart.

The best book on the MMPI-2 since Grahm (sp?).
