this freakin' thing took me over ayear to read- the man just kept walking. and walking. and walking. ugh, did I mention the walking?

Man this sounds like a fun book! I'm not going to read any of the reviews so as not to get any preconceived notions. I have high hopes! EDIT: Meh... even the fact that it's a mystery doesn't make me want to solve/finish the book. I'm going to look for a review with spoilers!
