This book was... interesting, to say the least. When I first picked it out, I'd thought it'd be like Harry Potter, as that was what one critic had blatantly said on the cover. When I read it, however, it is NOT like Harry Potter at all. I am afraid that all Harry Potter fans will be uncomfortable with reading this book. Instead of using fantasy as a sort of "background", this book pulls out the true meaning of "magic" and literally entwines a tale of grotesque horror and a test of magics onto both the reader and the main chracter of the story, Tria. Altogether, it is an interesting book, something that is ok to read if your mind is into it...
