I am currrently reading the book "Scat" by Carl Hiaasen. It is a very good, interesting book. "Scat" is about this teacher that went missing on a field trip. The whole time, everyone is looking for her, blaming others, and getting very suspicious of the wierd things that are happening now that she is gone. People have been changing and wierd things have been happening. Nick and Marta are pretty much the main characters and they stick together throughout the whole book. Nick has a crush on Marta and I'm pretty sure Marta likes Nick too, but she just doesn't want anyone to know about it.. Everything is suck a big secret. Nicks dad has been in Iraq and not returning his e-mails and Nick is getting very worried, because his dad always writes him and his mom back. Finally, he and his mom get a phone call saying that he is in a hospital. He lost his right arm and most of his shoulder. If thats not wierd I don't know what is. To find out how life carries on in the book, read "Scat" by Carl Hiaasen. If you ask me, it is a very good read.
