Good book centering around a season of fantasy football. It isn't his fault, but the fact that this is from 2002 made reading it in 2009 a little less interesting (which is more my fault then his). I liked the chapter he dedicated to his wife where she explains why she doesn't like fantasy football, and would never play it. Her quotes in that chapter were pretty funny. I thought there were parts where the humor was a little forced, but overall a good book. And man do I remember that playoff week with Pennington in the snow and the Giants/Saints Sunday night game. Another season that went down the drain (along with my donation).
This is a beautiful story of love, pain, and the irony that is the world.
A brilliant book. Sure to climb the NYT bestseller list. A must-read for every book lover who enjoys passing along the next best book. This one is sure to be around and talked about for a long, long time. Great choice for book clubs.
