Well. I found this book in my basement laundry room and started it, thinking it would be a light, easy read that I would probably not like but that would be pleasant enough for a rainy day. Stories about privileged, beautiful women, well...not the kind of book I expected to like very much, though you never know. But I did. Like it. There you go. Guilty pleasure maybe? Neatly wrapped happy ending fit with this author's style (I usually prefer something more ambiguous, open) and even though her writing was a little formal (distanced?) for my taste, it did match the characters, so it worked.
