This was a very compelling novel. It was a little bit of a dystopia, and it had definite Running Man ideas in it, but it was aimed towards teens and had a strong, competent female main character who was utterly compelling. I found myself thinking about this one long after reading it, and I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. The only downside is that I'll be waiting until September (ugh). That being said, it didn't end on a cliffhanger, it more ended with the knowledge that there would be more to come.
