Another "controlled society" book. . . . it's an enjoyable series, somewhat predictable. I was a little bothered by how naive Cassia is in this book. Her one goal is to reach Ky and she seems to do that without too much difficulty. But, it seems to me like "the rising" controls there group of people almost as much as "the society" controls the vast population. I really hope the author makes some bold moves in the last book and doesn't disappoint.

I love the chemistry that Dee and Ric have. They might start out nipping at each other’s heels but in the end they are hot together. Dee is a very tough lady. She can kick butt with all the boys; that intimidates some males but not Ric. Ric is smart; he is alpha and has his sights set on Dee. Dee doesn’t make it easy for Ric. But it is a good thing Ric loves a challenge. These two make a great team and made this book really unforgettable. The plot was completely believable and the relationships were solid and strong. I love a book I can really sink into, and Big Bad Beast is one I will not forget any time soon.
