I must first state that I received this book as a goodreads first read giveaway. I don't like to give "spoilers", other than what is already revealed on the book cover itself, so I will try and give my experience reading it. It took me just 2 days to read this book, because the characters are the kind of people we have all met, and the plot moves along nicely. A lot of humour which may seem odd for a murder mystery, but it is actually well placed, and entirely appropraite. I found myself unable to put the book down to go to bed and read well into early hours. I did not see the twist in this tale until it was revealed, and overall reading this has certainly made me wish I had read the first book, I will be looking out for the next one due out soon. The author very graciously signed the book and included matching bookmarks which was a nice extra, thank you Ms Ryan for a very very entertaining read!
