I didn't expect much as Robards runs hot and cold for me. I'm two hours in and don't want to put it down. Part story and part narrator Susan Ericksen. Finished - what an unexpected pleasure and Susan Ericksen makes it even better. This couple really worked romantically and although I don't read/listen for the suspense, it's not one you can figure out easily. 4 1/2 stars. I'll definitely relisten to this one someday.
