The last time I read this book was high school before seeing the Sistine Chapel and majoring in Art History in undergrad. It takes on a special new meaning after seeing most of Michelangelo's work and especially the chapel. I highly recommend this book for any one who loves art and is interested in the process of art creation, lives of artists, and the economic, political, and religious underpinnings that create masterpieces.
