Müziğinin hayranı olarak Pat Benatar'ın arka planını ve tarihini okumak ilginçti
Everything I want from an urban fantasy book! I love the resurgence of the Fae in books so this one really tied over my need for a fix. I found the book had just the right mix of adventure, romance, fantasy, humor, and real life drama to really hold my interest. One of the things I really look for when reading a fantasy is the author's ability to bring me new creatures instead of using the tired old sack of tricks. Black did not disappoint on that front or any others as far as I am concerned. This is a book for high school and up. Nothing too racy just a few intimate moments which don't amount to the "deed" but a little bit of language (basically the S* word). I would also peg this as more of a girls book because of the lead character being female and a few girly chatter scenes which I am sure boys are not all that interested in. This is one book that I can say I really want to read the rest of the series. Good thing I already have book two!
What a sweet little story! And I liked how I got to meet again many of the characters from earlier Beatrix Potter books. :-)
Most of the recipes require more time and energy than I have, but I enjoyed the book
